Quality-Enhanced Student Recruitment through Digital Support Services in the Student Life Cycle
(Acronym: QUADU)

As part of the university project QUADU, digital solutions will be developed and implemented to improve the quality of student recruitment throughout the entire "Student Life Cycle" at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden while also minimizing dropout rates.

The project aims to support study decisions and reduce dropout rates through the systematic and digital provision of information on study-relevant topics across the entire Student Life Cycle, as well as through the introduction of location-independent "Trial Days" and "Peer-Group Support." Personal experiences of our students and alumni will also be incorporated to cover all phases of the study process.

In the first set of measures, the existing data on study-relevant topics will initially be analyzed, and missing data will be collected. The information will then be systematized to create a comprehensive data platform containing all relevant information on topics such as studies and student life. This data platform will be continuously updated and expanded to ensure that (potential) students always have access to current information.

In addition, in the second set of measures, digital offerings such as virtual and interactive information sessions will be developed to give prospective students an insight into the study programs and student life—regardless of their location. These formats will build on the content of the data platform and present it in a way that is tailored to the target audience. The developed digital solutions will be integrated into the existing organizational processes and made accessible to (potential) students.

The project duration is from September 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025. The project is funded by the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture, and Tourism.
