The DFN Terminplaner, an application of the German Research Network, offers a alternative to using Doodle polls. This tool enables easy creation, organization, and coordination of appointments, surveys, and projects, which can then be shared with other users.

Staff can set an expiration date after which all data related to the respective event is permanently deleted. Polls can be conducted anonymously, with only the poll creator able to see the names of participants. The answer options can be individually limited, and the option for participants to edit their responses afterward can be enabled or disabled as needed. Additionally, the poll can be password protected.
