VPN Access at Palucca University
Target Group: Staff
The VPN is a prerequisite for mobile work and enables secure access to the university's internal network.
After successful authentication, an encrypted SSL tunnel is established and your computer receives an IP address from the university. This allows you to access many services and programs from outside the campus that are normally only available within the university network. This includes direct access to network drives, printers, HIS-GX programs, time tracking and workflow, Augias archive, and other services.
Note: The VPN client is pre-installed and configured on every university-owned laptop and MacBook. For security reasons, the use of the VPN client is only permitted on these devices and not on private devices.
