In memory of Esther Arnhold Seligmann, a Palucca student from 1935 to 1937, and her active commitment to the sustainment of the German expressive dance form as according to Palucca’s wishes, the Esther and Otto Seligmann Foundation together with the Arnhold Foundation award the Esther Arnold Seligmann Scholarship for excellent academic achievement at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden.
The scholarship comprises a six-week study abroad at the American Dance Festival (ADF) in Durham, North Carolina and a one-week stay in New York.
The scholarship is awarded to three University students. An internal university jury selects the scholarship holders, who have distinguished themselves through their excellent academic achievements.
