My first experience of the Palucca University of Dance Dresden (D.A.N.C.E. Program 2007-2009) greatly shaped my professional career. After almost 15 years experience as a professional dancer and choreographer in 2022, I returned to Dresden and enrolled in the Master Choreography Programme,  a new, transformative journey. This educational programme reshaped my perspective on choreographic processes. 

The Master Choreography Programme is precisely structured and prioritises the nurturing of each participant's individual artistic growth. It provides a comprehensive overview on the multifaceted world of professional creation, from initial conceptualization, through the introduction of modern movement generating techniques, to the nuances of multimedia and visual communication. As a result of the two-year Programme, the Master project was completed with the amazing help of the University and its professors. The Programme equips participants with an arsenal of practical tools vital for the realisation of any artistic project.

The educational journey is facilitated by a dedicated staff of educators and collaborative artists who actively guide students. This guidance extends beyond the limitations of traditional teaching, fostering an environment that encourages experimentation and accepts failures as a process of learning. It is within this secure atmosphere that students are inspired to take risks, daring to venture into uncharted territories that may lie far from their customary comfort zones.

In essence, the Master Choreography Programme at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden is an artistic metamorphosis, where the fusion of experience and education promises to not only transform the creative paths of students but also enrich the wider landscape of contemporary dance.
