Stunde des Tanzes

Students of the Palucca University of Dance Dresden will show works and choreographies of the current repertoire. In addition, excerpts from dance productions of the current semester work can be seen.

Being on stage and presenting one's own skills and sharing the passion for dance are just a few of the many reasons why the young dancers at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden train in the dance studio for several hours every day. Every spring at the "STUNDE DES TANZES" they show the results of their work in pieces created especially for this occasion.

In this school year, the 12- to 16-year-old students of the Young Talent Classes N1 to N4 (7th-10th class) present their choreographies and etudes from classical dance, contemporary/modern dance and improvisation in the Palucca University's "Grüner Saal" and give a brief insight into the artistic processes of Germany's only independent university for dance.
