ERASMUS+ Student Exchange Programme (Incoming)

ERASMUS+ is the European Union's program for education, youth and sport. 

Target group of the following information: students from partner universitys in the European Union who are interested in an Erasmus+ student exchange at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden

You can apply as an ERASMUS+ exchange student only with the ERASMUS+ coordinator at your home university. If your application is successful, your home university will nominate you as an Erasmus+ exchange student to Palucca University of Dance Dresden.

The application deadline for an ERASMUS+ student exchange at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden:

  • February 29th 2024 for the winter semester 2024/2025

Applications for the summer semester are only possible after prior arrangements.

The following application documents should be submitted:

  • Application form for international students 
  • Transcript of records from your home university
  • Letter of motivation (as a PDF document)
  • A tabular resume (CV) providing detailed information on previous school education and training (as a PDF document)
  • A passport photo (jpg format)
  • Application videos:

    The application videos should show the skills in modern/contemporary dance, classical dance and improvisation of the applicant. Please follow the IAP Guidelines. Examples can be found on the University's YouTube channel. Please submit five video links with your application:

    1. Classical variation (female dancers in pointe shoes)
    2. Modern/contemporary etude
    3. Three to five minutes barre work (female dancers in pointe shoes)
    4. Three to five minutes centre work (female dancers in pointe shoes)
    5. Improvisation (topic, place, music can be chosen freely)
